Dear friends,
Once again, it has been a revolving door in the FIV+ Suite. As I predicted, beautiful and sweet Norah barely made it out of her crate before getting scooped up by her new forever family. Oscar fell in love with a Tabby’s Place staff member, and she fell in love with him and took him home. Inigo Montoya, who was rooming with Stafford in the Big Honcho’s office, was also adopted into a loving home. Shiny is Stafford’s new roommate.
Now that we’re down two females, the male energy can be overwhelming sometimes. When there’s a brawl, the same suspects are usually involved: Rufus, Toby, Liam … and, well … okay, me. And things could get even more interesting with four new kitties in the FIV+ Suite.
Nikki is an orange ball of mush and pure love, so I don’t expect any problems there. Clarence and Wilson seem to be minding their own beeswax and mostly hanging out in their crates while they figure things out. Then there’s Martini Mike, who just smells like trouble. He tends to get overstimulated and then things can go south real fast. Luckily, the kind Tabby’s Place staff is good at handling those types of situations with sound interventions, medication and lots and lots of love.
Tabby’s Place is cheerfully decked out for the holidays, which brings me so much joy. And, you—with your kind and generous heart—are a special gift to me. I’m humbled by all your love and support.
Wishing you a very special holiday filled with love and wet, furry kisses.
XOXO,
Lester
