Dear friends,
I’m happy to tell you that the Infected Six are no longer … well, infected, that is. No more ringworm isolation and sulfur dips for my fellow Suite FIV+ friends. Everyone is back and enjoying lazy summer days in the solarium.
Wilbur continues to charm everyone he meets. Rufus, another new guy to Tabby’s Place and the FIV+ Suite, got put on hold before you could say “adopt me” and has already headed home to his new family. And our sweet, loving Mona was put on hold, too, and has also headed to her forever home by the time you read this. I’m not sure who will cuddle with all the FIV boys now, but I do know that whoever adopts Mona could possibly be the second luckiest person in this world (the first would be whoever adopts me, of course).
I have continued my culinary explorations of different prescription diets. Even though I’m very hungry when I’m first released from my crate, I am still avoiding my prescription food. The kind Tabby’s Place staff are giving me different prescription diets to see what will appeal to me more to try to stem my weight loss. I appreciate that they are trying to find something that I like better and promise to start chowing down as soon as I find something I like.
I hope you’re enjoying these long, lazy days of summer. I’m sending you lots of love and kisses for your friendship and continued support.
Your buddy,
Lester
