Dear friends,
There’s less of me to love these days. No, I haven’t lost more weight. This month, I lost two teeth! I had a dental recently, which is why I’m now two teeth lighter. The kind staff told me I did great under anesthesia and that I’ve recovered from my extractions nicely. I can tell you for sure that my mouth feels better.
All is good and peaceful in the FIV+ Suite. It’s been warm, so most of us continue to enjoy the solarium with the great view of Cherny’s Garden (and the butterflies and birds that frequent it). I don’t know if someone did this to torment us or entertain us, but there’s a birdhouse within our purview (or purr-view, haha).
The kind Tabby’s Place staff has decorated the place for Halloween. It’s one of my favorite holidays! I’m planning to wear a costume in the hopes I can trick someone into giving me treats. Since I’m black and white, I’m thinking maybe a zebra costume, or an Oreo cookie (oooh, that thought makes me hungry…).
On a recent visit from my correspondent, I hunkered down in my igloo and wouldn’t come out for my usual love session. It was dreary out and I was sleepy, so my correspondent sat outside my igloo and talked to me sweetly until I dozed off, surrounded by my toys.
Thanks for all your big love and generous support. My heart expands whenever I think about all that you do for me.
Love,
Lester
