Dear friends,

I’m happy to report that the Suite FIV+ crew is happy and healthy. Minus a few minor health issues for some, we’ve had a stellar month of good health and the return of cat pileups. Since I’ve been on a hypoallergenic diet, my weight has dropped, but the staff has been keeping a close eye on me. A full work-up came up normal. I’m not loving my diet, which probably has something to do with my weight loss, but I know I need to stay on it.

Some of my roommates and I have daydreamed about sneaking out of our suite at night and relabeling the cat food bags in our favor (no more “healthy” prescription food, and no one would know!). Because we lack opposable thumbs, our dreams have no chance of becoming reality ☹

Our world in Suite FIV+ is different without Buddy in it. He was the neighborhood chatterbox and all-around good guy. I bet he’s chatting up a storm and doling out big-time head rubs and kisses in his new home. I hope he sends us a postcard with an update and a fun picture with his new family. I think Mona misses Buddy the most, but she has quickly shifted her cuddles and affections to others, with Shea being a special favorite.
