Update for the Kitten Fund

Lumi

Greetings, Kitten Lovers!

Well as you may already know, Tabby’s Place had milestone events this month. What better way was there to celebrate its 20th anniversary than with the Grand Opening of Quinn’s Corner on October 7th? Two momentous occasions of course bring to mind that celebrations such as these would never have been possible without the generous support of our monthly sponsors and all of our dedicated volunteers.

The kittens continue to flow through the Tabby’s Place network in what seems to be an endless supply. The trio that got spayed this month are Gavroche, Sunny, and Nimona. The neuters won hands down and the crowd included Burrito, Wigglypuff, Silent Bob, Rufus, Bartleby, Loki, and Jay. The wave of tiny new meows consisted of Wheezer, Blur, Oasis, Muse, Marvin, Craig, Greg, Flick, Flack, Rufio, I-95, and Uni. A veritable tsunami of cuteness!

Echo

The Snow kittens and their mama returned from foster care and moved to the kitten room. It did not take long before Neige was adopted. The mother is still very nervous around people and needs further socialization before being forever home-ready.

Also returning from their stint in foster care were the Berry kittens, along with the impish Echo. Echo has not had a lot of experience with other cats as she was in foster care recovering from a significant bite wound. She seems lukewarm about other cats but gives a resounding paw up for attention from people. She LOVES people and would spend all day curled up in someone’s arms if she could. The great news is that she is—in fact— forever homebound.

Eira, Lumi, and Neige

Thank you as always for your support and connection to the Tabby’s Place mission. We are especially conscious of the important role that you play during milestone celebrations such as we had this month.

Many thanks!
