Dear Jude Friend, 
Jude had a very rough start to the month. Her seizures got worse, and she was having one nearly every night. Even when she wasn’t having a seizure, she was not herself. She was very disoriented, circling a lot, and having a hard time finding her food (which she never had difficulty with before). I was holding her up, and holding her food dish for her so she could eat. I was very worried about her and started questioning her quality of life. The Tabby’s Place vet team didn’t know what else to do for her, as she is already on such high doses of the medications for her weight. I was devastated that my baby was doing so badly.
I was barely sleeping, and I was going over and over anything and everything that could be causing this drastic change.If you remember, a couple of updates ago, I was telling you about the empty pill capsules that I was putting Jude’s tiny ball pills in, to make it easier. Suddenly it occurred to me that these two things started around the same time. The seizures and changes in Jude started right after I started using the pill capsules. At first, I thought there was no way it could be the cause of this. Those empty pill capsules are designed to dissolve easily, allowing the pills inside to do their job. But it was the only thing that had changed, and I couldn’t ignore the timing lined up.
I removed the tiny ball pills from the capsules and started just pilling Jude as I used to. The difference was instant and amazing. Within one day the seizures stopped, and she hasn’t had one single seizure since then (over 2 weeks ago). Within 2 days she was completely back to normal, eating well with no help, and was not disoriented anymore. Our little Jude was back! I am unbelievably relieved and soooooooo happy. I am so glad I realized this all started at the same time I started using the pill capsules.
Jude is doing great now and is back to her usual self. She is eating well again, and enjoying herself. It is so good to have my cranky little girl back. I can’t imagine life without her, I love her so much.Thank you for making it possible to give Jude everything she needs. We couldn’t do it without you.
