Boobalah and I wish you a warm and welcoming spring in whatever corner of the world you are in! Spring in New Jersey is filled with optimism and hope that the sun will soon shine on us more days than it doesn’t. It’s all we ask for—doesn’t that seem fair?

Boobalah is still working hard and staffing the Receptionist desk in the Lobby every chance she gets! Truth be told, she sleeps on the job occasionally. A few seconds before I snapped this photo, she seemed sound asleep.

We have had an exceptionally wet and cool period lately, and Boobalah decided to just kick back and watch her favorite shows on Netflix. Who could blame her? It’s what so many of us would like to do, but alas we are pulled in other directions. Luckily, sweet Boo has you, her wonderful supporters, allowing her not to have a care in the world.

This time of year is kitten season at Tabby’s Place. It comes along, just as sure as the sun rises and sets each day. We are extremely lucky to have wonderful volunteers who step up to foster the many pregnant moms and soon-to-be-born kittens. Eventually, they all return to Tabby’s Place and are ready for adoption into their forever homes.

For those of you who are local and fairly close by, and might be interested, a Volunteer Open House will be held at Tabby’s Place on Saturday, April 27th from 12 pm-4 pm. Boobalah would be happy to tell you about all the ways some of her fans help out at Tabby’s Place.

In medical news, Boo lost a little weight this month, but otherwise, she is in good health and spirits. Boo attended a special Paws to Read outing where she visited a preschool classroom and participated in rug time. She received rave reviews from delighted kids!
