Boobalah preparing for the Grand Opening

Greetings, dear Boobalah friends,

Fall has fallen into our laps rather quickly and delightfully. The cooler crisp air is so refreshing. It makes us want to sleep a little longer and snuggle a little closer. Luckily, Boobalah and her Lobby friends are up for the task!

Boobalah has been in energy conservation mode as she anticipated the Grand Opening of Quinn’s Corner. Yes, it’s about the FeLV kitties but surely she will get visitors, too, right? And right she was.

              Party time!!

Over 500 visitors came to celebrate the Grand Opening of Quinn’s Corner, the expansion for cats with feline leukemia virus (FeLV), and the 20th anniversary of Tabby’s Place saving cats from hopeless situations. Quinn’s Corner is a one-of-a-kind haven for cats with the feline leukemia virus, who are typically euthanized upon diagnosis. It was heartwarming to hear the stories of the two kitties, Tabby and Quinn, responsible for creating the miracles we know as Tabby’s Place and Quinn’s Corner.

It is an extraordinary achievement that after taking in a stray kitty, Tabby, Jonathan Rosenberg had the vision and the passion to design and build Tabby’s Place. It was not only successful, but 20 years later it is thriving and expanding to help even more cats in hopeless situations. It would not have been possible without the generous support of you, our monthly sponsors!

Boobalah has been in good health and spirits. She continues to enjoy her diaper-free nights and we continue with thorough morning cleanings in the lobby to make sure everything is fresh and sanitary. Only the best will do for our sweet Boo!

May your days be warm and cozy, and filled with gratitude. We are so very thankful for your generous and steadfast support for Boobalah, and for all that is Tabby’s Place.

Have a great month.
