Hello, my loves!

Happy New Year! Did you have a good holiday season? All of us here at Tabby’s Place enjoyed ourselves very much, and we’re looking forward to a wonderful 2017.

So, one evening, after our holiday festivities, I was surfing the Internet to pass the time, and I came across something amazing. It was called The Bacon Cookbook. I got so excited, I could barely contain myself. Someone made a book full of yummy recipes just to please me?! Could it be?

Well, it wasn’t long before a few of my suitemates were snickering, and they told me this book wasn’t about me at all. It was a book with recipes made with bacon. Huh? I didn’t even know this was a food! They told me that bacon is some type of meat product. Boy, was I disappointed — not to mention a little embarrassed. Well, it can’t be very good meat, since they never serve it to us here at Tabby’s Place.

I also had a few episodes of, shall we say, misconduct. Word on the street has it that Luna and I are not getting along very well. I’ve heard that some think I am the instigator in our little tiffs, and perhaps I’ve done my share of misbehaving, but Luna is no innocent, either. When my correspondent visited me and tried to give me a cuddle, Luna jumped right in front of me and got in the way! I just sat on my perch and waited for some attention, minding my own business. So, there are two sides to this story.

It was really nice to see my correspondent, as she gives really good cuddles and kisses me on the head. This makes me happy! She doesn’t even mind if I ignore her or act up a little bit. She said we all have our moments of eccentric behavior.
