This month’s update brings good news about Bacon!  Our wonderful Bacon has finally branched out his wet food preferences. For quite some time Bacon was putting up a fight with eating his medications. Between ham baby food and Fancy Feast Savory Centers, Bacon had limited options. This put us in a pickle, as it seems the world loves Savory Centers, so we often run out. Bacon, for reasons we’ll never understand, has decided to expand his menu to include some flavors of Gravy Lovers. Great news all around!

Bacon and Fenek continue to get along well as roommates. This month Fenek was met with an unfortunate “gift.” Bacon had unintentionally urinated on top of Fenek’s crate. During a seizure, Bacon loses control of his bladder. It just so happened that one night Bacon had a seizure on top of Fenek’s crate. Fortunately, we cover Fenek’s crate for safety so Fenek avoided any splashes of urine.

A few days we’ve seen that Bacon has been more active than usual. This is always nice to see. Bacon does have a fondness for grabbing onto legs. That part has not been so nice for our staff in the morning. If you’re ever a bit sleepy, Bacon grabbing your calf will surely fix that!

Overall, Bacon remains stable and happy. Thank you, as always, for your wonderful support of our unique boy! We could not care for him the way we do without your generosity.
