Dear Friends,

My very own holiday correspondence!

Happy New Year! I hope your holidays were delightful. I enjoyed the festive vibes here at Tabby’s Place. Our lovely staff and volunteers bring joy daily, but the holidays carry extra magic. I even got my very own holiday card and a special letter from a beloved fan! I feel like I hit the lottery of love.

Among my many jobs here, I’m pleased to add public service announcements to my resume. I was a recent poster boy to remind humans to keep their kitty friends safe while opening gifts. I got to wear my favorite holiday costume for the photo shoot.

My first public service announcement!

I’m not a fan of resolutions. I like treats too much, so diets and weight loss are not for me, and I only drink water. So, this year let’s all vow to just love each other as is. If resolutions are your thing, I fully support you and am rooting for you to reach your goals. But know that either way, I love you exactly the way you are. You are perfect as is. 😊

My health has been spectacular after a brief bout of feeling out of sorts last month. My tummy is very sensitive, so it’s usually tummy issues when I’m not feeling well. This includes a decreased appetite, which is a giant red flag for staff that my tummy is acting up (among some other embarrassing symptoms we don’t need to talk about here). A little anti-nausea medication went a long way and perked me up in no time.

And my first stroller ride of the year! I have a feeling this will be a good year 🙂

We had several mild days, so I got to go on my first stroller ride of the year! It was a quick stroll, but that did not diminish my joy one bit. I’m so grateful to the volunteers who keep tabs on the weather and enable us to get outside for some fresh air and change of scenery when possible. I’m starting my countdown to spring!

Every month I ask my correspondent, “What human words could possibly describe the depth of my love and gratitude for my dear friends and supporters?” And every month, we feel like we come up short. Because the truth is, words only scratch the surface of what I feel for you deep in my heart. You are my everything. And without you, this life would not be possible for me. Thank you for being you, and for your continued love and support.

Love,
Anka
