Dear Friends,

Earlier this month, we held a special Paws to Read event at Tabby’s Place to celebrate Read Across America Day. Of course, we did it in true Tabby’s Place style! Children were invited to come to Tabby’s Place to read to us cats. I love all the little people and listening to them read. You can just tell they’re going to grow up to be amazing humans. I even got to take a stroller ride with Dr. Seuss, Mr. Cat in a Hat, himself (or a pretty good imposter)! Fun was had all around.

One of my human officemates thought I sounded a bit wheezy recently, so our lovely vet team listened to my breathing and said I sounded good. I may have just been making some noises to get my officemate’s attention. 😊

I’ve been a little grumpy when the vet techs try to express me. When things get a little—um—‘firm’ down there, it takes extra effort to get it out. Trust me, you’d be a little grumpy too.

To cheer me up, I sometimes get a treat. Lickable cat treats are so yummy! As you can see from my photo, I lock my arms around the person giving me treats so they can’t escape.

I’m so happy that spring is around the corner! We’ve had some very nice, spring-like days where I got to go outside in my stroller and listen to all the birds. This is my happy place.
