Dear Friends,

I am thrilled to announce that I got a promotion!!! I am the new Head of the Volunteer Department. I even got my very own lanyard with my name and business title. This is a Big Deal, and I hope you’re proud of me. As you can see from my photo, I’m celebrating with bubbly. 😊

I tried to use my new, important status to obtain ridiculous amounts of treats but, apparently, the Head of the Volunteer Department does not have that kind of sway—especially after my week of prodigious gas, bloating, and nasty GI issues.

My recent tummy upset was pretty bad, with vomiting and all. I made such a mess of myself that I got a special bath and some much-needed manscaping. Medication made me feel better, and I’m back to my happy, perky self. I’m so grateful for the loving staff who take such good care of me, especially when I’m not feeling well.

Spring is around the corner (and some days, it feels like it has already arrived!), so I hope the staff is dusting off our strollers. I’m excited and ready to enjoy all the outdoor sights, smells, and sounds. Early spring flowers are already starting to break ground.

For Valentine’s Day, I sent love your way through the ethers. I hope you were able to feel all the virtual love and furry hugs. You will always be my favorite Valentine.
