Update for Anka

Dear Friends,

Color me happy! 🙂

This month Tabby’s Place celebrates its 20th anniversary. Twenty years of caring for the neediest catsthat’s more than half my life! This milestone is possible because of the generous support of people like you. Without this magical place, I honestly don’t know what would have happened to me. I am beyond grateful for this beautiful life I have thanks to your support! This alone is worthy of massive celebrations, but there’s more …

All the excitement has made me very sleepy

We also celebrated the official Grand Opening of Quinn’s Corner on October 7. Hundreds of people came and took tours, met the cats, and visited various stations with homemade cat toys and other goodies. There was a coloring station for kids, and I was one of four Tabby’s Place cats chosen for a coloring picture. I am deeply honored. It was fun to have a front-row seat from which to watch all the visitors exploring our new Quinn’s Corner.

Lastly, I’m happy to benefit from a reduced bladder expression schedule. The kind staff have changed the schedule to twice a day (instead of the usual three times a day). I have never enjoyed this process and my bladder has not had much during the mid-day expression, so this new schedule works very well for me.

XO

My correspondent was away last month, and when she returned, I let her know how much I missed her with exuberant expressions of joy and by rubbing my face on her while she sat with me and told me all about her travel adventures. One of her stops was my native country, Turkey. We shared some stories and laughs, then I slipped into a deep sleep.

Thank you for everything you do for me and for Tabby’s Place. Here’s to another 20+ years of saving the cats who need it the most.

Love and kisses,

Anka
