Update for Anka

Dear Friends,

I love cuddling with my friends and toys

It has been a busy month as our Tabby’s Place people prepare to open our expanded facilities. I hope I can get a tour in my swanky stroller to check out the new space. The weather has continued to be fabulous through the early part of this month, so I’ve been spending time outdoors. That’s a rare treat this time of year!

Some time ago, the lovely staff put colorful caps on my nails. They used to pretend it was spa time and they were giving me a manicure, but I know the real reason was for their own protection when they express me. Well, after a long hiatus, they’re at it again. I now have sparkly pink-capped claws, but not for long! As in the past, I’m quickly removing them. 😊

Recently, I was feeling cranky and didn’t show interest in my treats, which is not typical for me. Whenever one of us kitties isn’t behaving normally, the kind staff are all over it. They noticed my bladder was extra full, so I’ll be getting checked for a urinary tract infection soon. Please cross your paws that I don’t have an infection.

Hips is such a ham … and fearless!

Halloween is always a good time at Tabby’s Place. Some kitties are fearless and don’t mind cuddling with scary decorations, like Hips, for example, who has been cuddling with our Lobby skeleton AND our own scary ghoul, Olive. Shockingly, she has not yet tried to steal his soul.

Hips and Olive–a scary sight to behold!

With Thanksgiving around the corner, I’ve been reflecting on how super lucky I am to be here at Tabby’s Place. It’s been a wild ride from Turkey to my amazing accommodations in Ringoes, NJ. You’ve been such a good friend to me, and I will be forever grateful for you and your continued support, which has made this special life possible for me.

With my deep love and gratitude,
Anka
