Dear Friends,

For a glorious week or two, I received an extra ½ cup of kibble at night. I love food like I love sunshine and fresh air, so the extra kibble brought me great joy. Unfortunately, I gained some weight, which makes expressing me much more difficult. Boy, I just look at kibble, and the pounds pile on. So I’m back on my diet ☹.

At least I can still find abundant joy in the sunshine and fresh air. I get to go on frequent stroller rides with lovely volunteers, who I consider good friends.

While we cats are enjoying a lazy, hot summer, the people here are quite busy. Quinn’s Corner is almost complete and there’s lots of buzz and activity to recruit more volunteers and get them ready in time. I already know that our wonderful staff and volunteers have fully expanded hearts. Now it’s exciting to see our building expand to make room for more kitties in need. I hope you can come to visit and please make sure to stop and see me so I can give you a big kitty kiss and hug.

As I go for my long stroller rides, I think of you and hope you’re enjoying these long summer days.
