Dear Friends,
The weather in New Jersey has been confusing, to say the least. Seventy-plus degrees one day, freezing cold the next. Confused, living things are wanting to sprout:
- Spring flowers have begun sprouting, only to be halted by the cold;
- Kittens are also sprouting because no one told them and their mommas that it’s too early for the spring ‘kitten season.’ We’ve got a few cuties here and in foster care;
- And we outdoor-loving kitties have been preparing to sprout from strollers into bright sunshine, only to be told we’ll have to wait a few more days or weeks (probably weeks). This Turkish kitty has ants in his pants and can’t wait to get outside on a regular basis.
I’m still not allowed any treats, but I am getting Miralax in my food so that things don’t get … ummm … backed up. When I’m backed up, it’s no fun for me or the kind staff that has to express me. I had a urine sample taken recently and I’m happy to report I’m healthy as can be.
You are like a big ray of spring sunshine in my life, helping me bloom and thrive every day. Thanks for everything you do for me and all the love you send my way. I am grateful for you.
Sending big love,
Anka
