Dear Friends,

Love is in the air. Paper hearts with sweet words and Valentine’s decorations have filled our beautiful Tabby’s Place, reminding each of us that we are fully loved. Would you do me the honor of being my Valentine for the entire month? That would bring me so much joy. I will send you virtual whisker kisses every day.
The love that’s in the air is, unfortunately, not always applied consistently. For example, I’m still very cranky when I’m being expressed, and I continue to give the kind staff a hard time. We’re all hoping this will get better when I lose some weight. Even though I’m generally not allowed any treats, for now, the staff does slip me a few treats after they express me to help make the experience more rewarding for me. I secretly send them kisses for their kindness.
And then there’s Disco, who enjoyed tormenting me one recent morning by sitting just out of my reach on the other side of my luxury accommodations. This I did not love. No kisses for Disco.
Spring is just around the corner—I can see it in the longer days, feel it in my heart, and hear it in the many chirping birds outside every time someone opens the front door. I think spring may be my favorite season because we get to stroll outside often and enjoy all the beautiful sights and sounds.
My heart is overflowing with love, especially for you, my good friend and loyal supporter. I look forward to writing you each month and sincerely hope that you can feel my love and gratitude for you.
Much love,
Anka
