Update for Anka

Dear friends,

I’m having a fabulous summer! My kind human friends have been taking me outdoors for stroller walks and picnics, where I get to watch butterflies and birds and smell the fresh air. I’m literally in heaven and could not be happier.

I also got to host new senior friends at Tabby’s Place this month. Tabby’s Place began working with a senior home that visits here as part of our Aged to Purrfection program. It was fun to show my new peeps where I live and play. Of course, I still enjoy my trips out to nursing homes to visit my fastest growing fan base. It brings me so much joy to know I can make these seniors smile just by spending time with them and sharing my love.

Last month, the lovely Tabby’s Place staff contemplated whether I should be allowed to roam freely in the lobby, but ultimately decided that might not be a good idea given my aggression toward other cats. This month, I confirmed they made the right choice. While our fearless leader Jonathan was in my luxury accommodations, I snuck out and attacked an innocent bystander of the furry, 4-legged kind, within 10 seconds. I may not have use of my back legs, but that doesn’t slow me down.

I’m sending you happy summer wishes and lots of hugs and kisses. Thanks for being such a caring and supportive friend to me.

All my love,
Anka
