Update for Anka

Hello friends,

It’s official! I am a certified “Therapy Animal!” I’ve always wanted a formal title, and now my dream has come true. I’m in great company, too. All the cats that participate in the Aged to Purrfection program have received the official designation, along with our very own Therapy Animal bandannas.

I’m told I continue to be a favorite at the facilities we visit. Nothing makes me happier than getting into a stroller and visiting new human friends who are excited to see me. They seem to really like my pink nose and green eyes, along with my outgoing personality. I make such a fuss over them and, especially with seniors, I let them know I love them and they are special.

Beautiful Pixie, one of our other paraplegic cats and fellow Aged to Purrfection participant, was recently adopted. This gives me great hope that I, too, have a chance at being adopted into a loving home (with no other cats, please). I know we paraplegic cats require extra work, but I promise we’re worth it 😊.

I love outside stroller rides and time spent in my outdoor pen so much that I can’t get enough! I’m thinking of taking out an advertisement in the local newspapers or maybe starting up a match.com site for kitties looking for stroller partners.

I’m excited about our upcoming Kitten Shower on June 22nd, because it means Tabby’s Place will be filled with big and small humans, and that means more cuddle time for me! If you plan to attend, please come to visit me so I can give you kisses.

Lots of love,

Anka
