Happy summer, my friends!

My correspondent has started bringing me treats. I didn’t like the first kind that she brought me. To communicate this, I ignored the treat she placed in front of me, looked her straight in the eye and meowed my dissatisfaction. She promptly walked away and came back with three different bags, determined to find my favorite of the bunch. I happily worked through the buffet she lined up in front of me and then showed her which I liked best. We make a good team 😊

This month, a sponsor visited me from all the way from Russia! Perhaps because we are both international, we hit it off immediately. I am happy to call him my friend and hope he visits with me again next time he is in the U.S. The kind people at Tabby’s Place say they are not surprised we became fast friends. They say I steal hearts easily and charm the socks off of everyone I meet. I don’t understand … who wears socks in this summer heat? Perhaps it is just a silly American saying?

I continue to happily greet the staff and visitors of Tabby’s Place from my luxury accommodations in the lobby. While I will probably never learn to like other cats, I haven’t recently tried to clobber any that have walked or scooted by my gates. So, extra treats for me??
