Hello, my friends,
Life is good for me here at Tabby’s Place. I have many visitors who play with me and bring me toys and treats. I feel lucky that my life has been filled with so much love. People looked out for me when I was a street cat in Turkey, and they continue to look after me in this very special place.
I had my first manicure the other day. What do you think? I couldn’t decide which color I liked best, so I used them all. I like showing off my colorful nails. (Actually, they’re “claw caps,” to keep me from injuring the staff when they express my bladder!)
We have a new guy in the lobby. His name is Jonathan. I see a lot of cats where I live, but he’s the most interesting looking by far. He’s a little frail, happy guy who gives his all to everything he does, which is mostly eat, drink water and love all people. Needless to say, everyone has fallen in love with him. I am still a popular cat, but it seems I’ve got some competition.
In other exciting news, I watched Olive take down a Japanese beetle the other day. That girl is fast! Poor beetle didn’t stand a chance. Note to self: don’t mess with Olive.
I hope you’re enjoying these long, lazy summer days. Many thanks for making this dream a reality for me.
Sending lots of love,
Anka
