Hello dear friends,

Nursing homes visits to play and cuddle with special seniors as part of our “Aged to Purrfection” program have been a huge hit with the seniors and the kitties. You can see the happiness during one of my visits in the photo below. We’ve opened the program up to more cats, so I took a break the last few weeks to let other cats enjoy the experience. Besides, no one can top my appearance last month in a banana split costume.

I’ve had a healthy, easy month. I wish I could say the same for the newest Tabby’s Place staff member, who is faced with the daunting task of learning to express all the incontinent cats. I guess all newbies must pay their dues. I give everyone a hard time about having my bladder expressed, but the new staff member is up to the task and has done a great job. Sorry (not sorry) for being so difficult.

I’m excited for the holidays. This will mark my second Christmas at Tabby’s Place. The staff and volunteers really know how to make it feel special. There’s a tree in the lobby, under which Jonathan likes to sit and do his best tiny elf impression. It seems everyone (kitties included) is in the holiday spirit.
