Ana and her one-and-only roomie, Natasha, continue to do wonderfully in their private suite (Adoption Room #1).
On a few occasions, the Tabby’s Place team has contemplated adding another cat or two to the room, which can certainly accommodate more than two felines. But, given how peaceful Ana has been since only having to share her space with one other cat, we haven’t wanted to push our luck. Ana’s medical news has been as peaceful as her social life, with nothing of note to report.
In my recent visits, Ana has continued her mellow ways. Some days, she can barely wake herself up for attention, as shown in the photo below. On other days she’s more lively, and shows some of her old feistiness.
On this past Sunday, both Natasha and Ana let each other know when they thought the other one was getting entirely too much attention or getting in their way. But it wasn’t anything serious, simply a hiss or swat to assert themselves. Our Ana continues to be as fond of human attention as ever.
One of the nice bonuses of Ana’s new location is the window Adoption Room #1 offers out into the Tabby’s Place lobby. Fortunately, Ana and Natasha seem to have worked out a peaceable time-share of the window ledge, as they both enjoy watching the lobby happenings.
The lobby is especially fascinating this time of year, with several small kittens living in condos out there and frequently being let loose to tear around the lobby at high, happy speeds. As you might imagine, this is very interesting viewing for Ana and Natasha!
Sponsors, thank you so much for supporting our Ana and helping us to give her everything – medically, socially and otherwise – that she needs for a happy, healthy life. She is so fortunate to have you in her life, and, if your schedule should allow a visit to Tabby’s Place, Ana would be thrilled to meet you this summer.
