On the medical front Anastasia was seeming a bit quiet and not herself towards the end of the month. She seemed to be gulping a bit more as well, a sign that her IBD may be flaring up. After being checked out by the wonderful medical staff, it was decided to increase Anastasia’s steroids and then to check her blood-work again in a couple weeks to check on her again.
The big news is that there has been quite a bit of moving going on. First Desi, Star, and Venice moved to Suite C since they have transitioned to a regular diet. Then Anastasia, Skittles, Crystal, and Natasha moved to Adoption Room 2. So a whole new crew has moved into the old Suite A!
Ana seems to be quite happy with the move although she misses Desi. Since cats in general have never been her thing, being in a smaller room with only three roommates is great. Another lovely aspect in her viewpoint is that this new room has a soft chair and sofa to lounge on. She is taking full advantage of this development! When I sat down in the chair to visit she promptly crawled into my lap for some extra loving. Even Skittles seems to like the new arrangement and consented to let me pet her – a new high for her.
So although Ana may miss some of her old suite mates, she seems to be quite content with the new smaller room.
