It looks like the weather is finally just right for Ana, as she is now happily enjoying the solarium with her friends. In fact, it seems like the only cat in Suite A that doesn’t hang out in the solarium is Skittles. But maybe she just likes the peace and quiet!
The past few times I’ve visited Suite A, it seems like the cats are a little bit more playful in the solarium than they are inside. Maybe it’s the fresh air? In fact, the usually timid Star (pictured) came out of her shell and sat in my lap on my last visit! I was shocked, as this sweet little girl has always kept her distance from me in the past. This time, however, she came right up to me, sat on my lap, and cuddled for a good 15 minutes.
There have been no medical surprises this month for our Ana, which might be why she was happily showing off her belly (pictured). However, Ana has been continually receiving her B-12 injections (which may be helpful for her IBD since some vets believe that IBD interferes with a cat’s ability to absorb B-12). This, too, may have contributed to her happy, belly-showing ways this month.
Thank you so very much for your dedication to Anastasia’s care. And, please, take a tip from Ana and enjoy the outdoors as the beautiful fall weather comes in – I know I will!
