It seems as though Ana’s wish was answered this month, as she bid a good-bye to her rough and rowdy suite-mate, Luke. Ana wishes hyper Luke the best of luck in his new home, but she won’t be losing any fur or sleep over his departure.
In fact, Ana is doing great health-wise. Her medication and weight remain unchanged, which is great news!
On our last visit together, Ana gave me the cold shoulder. She might have just been having “one of those days,” but she was very tense when I tried to pet her. In the meantime, I discovered Beatrice (pictured at right), one of Ana’s more friendly and outgoing suite-mates.
As I was sitting and trying to pet Ana, Beatrice started pawing at my sweatshirt imploring me to play with her instead. Well, her act worked. Before I knew it, Beatrice had hopped on my shoulders and decided to take a nap. At first it was awkward having a large feline headrest, but I let her stay for a few minutes and we bonded.
Ana did eventually come around and let me near her, but it’s always good to know that there are plenty of other kitties with love to share. I also highly recommend the feline headrest for plane travel….although, it might be hard to get through security.
Thank you for your ongoing kindness to dear Ana, and have a wonderful month!
