Update for Anastasia

Greetings all!

My last visit with Ana was as predicted: a wee more familiar (on her part of course, I sorta’ know the young lass). This time ’round she was more interested in … me… than the food. Go figure. Perched atop Rose’s cubby, she greeted me with excited eyes, a wavering tail, and a mild squeak. A fine visit was had by us both.

Unfortunately, Ana has been vomiting more often this month. Soon after my visit she was moved into a Specialty Care Room to transition her to a new prescription diet. She seemed to like having the digs to herself. But once she was comfortably eating the new food, she was moved to another Specialty Care Room that houses four senior citizen residents who also eat the same prescription food.

Ana isn’t liking the company of these new cats too much. If they get within three paws of her she growls and bats at them. She acts all tough around them because they are mellow and frail, but if they were more aggressive, I think Ana would know her place.

If the new diet doesn’t work, Ana may need an internal medicine consultation for further discovery. She still maintains a galvanized palate and tummy though, having only one bout of vomiting on the new food thus far. That said, cross paws gentle reader, cross paws!

Ana LOVES your support!
