Given the recent weather in New Jersey, it is no lie to say that now is indeed the winter of our discontent.

But we’re delighted today, because our Polka has been adopted!

It’s true!

A couple came in a few weeks ago and took a tour, which, of course, included getting to meet our fabulous FeLV+ felines.

They were captivated instantly by Polka’s silly antics and his charm, so much so that they couldn’t stop thinking about him and applied to adopt him about a week later.

To their credit, this couple, who knew nothing about FeLV, has done their research. They understand the challenges (and the rewards!) of adopting a FeLV+ cat, and they’re excited to give our sweet boy the home he deserves.

We are so happy for our little mischief, and we’re always thrilled to find people who understand that FeLV+ cats deserve a loving home.
