Special Update for Moo Moo

Special Update for Moo Moo

Dearest Sponsors,

Your messages of love and nearness have been a comfort to all of us at Tabby’s Place this weekend. I’m grateful to write with hopeful news for our Moo Moo.

Yesterday, the emergency vets were able to wean Moo Moo off of supplemental oxygen. A small amount of fluid remained in her chest, and accumulated a bit more overnight. They will be removing that fluid today and sending it out for diagnostics, just to rule out anything other than congestive heart failure. (We don’t expect this will show anything of further concern.)

As you might expect, Moo Moo has stolen the hearts of her hospital team! She’s eating fabulously and has made herself quite comfortable. Isn’t that just like our Moo Moo, to radiate peace in the midst of a daunting situation?

Moo Moo is doing so well, she should be able to come home to Tabby’s Place tomorrow. Be assured we will welcome her with countless kisses and a celebration befitting a queen. Our medical director admits she was concerned Moo Moo might never make it out of the hospital, as congestive heart failure sometimes comes on with devastating force.

But today, we are looking to a future we weren’t sure we’d be given. We will be scheduling a visit with a cardiologist for an echocardiogram as soon as possible.

We’re also looking to place Moo Moo in a Forever Foster home, where she can be lavished with love by a person of her very own, while still receiving all her medical care from Tabby’s Place.

Dear sponsors, none of this would be possible without you. Your generosity has provided for the swift, stellar care that saved Moo Moo’s life, and you will be by her side in the uncertain days ahead.

Moo Moo is blessed beyond measure to have you in her life … and so are we.

With love and immense gratitude,
your guest correspondent,
Angela
