Special Update for Boobalah

Special Update for Boobalah

Dear Boobalah family,

First and foremost: our girl is still very much with us! In fact, the reason for this update is to rejoice together in the good days she’s been enjoying.

It seems insufficient to address you as “Boobalah sponsors,” when really you have become her family.

All of us at Tabby’s Place have been profoundly moved by your outpouring of love since her illness. Please know that your emails, calls, prayers, and devotion to our precious little girl mean the world to all of us — especially Boo. I truly believe that Boobalah feels your tenderness, and your generosity is providing the care that keeps her comfortable.

She has been enjoying every day to the fullest, eating well, walking comfortably, and delighting in affection. Although Boo has always been hugged and kissed many times a day, the “love party” has become non-stop!

When she’s not blissfully curled in a lap or snuggled up in warm arms, she’s riding through our gardens in her green stroller. There is not one moment of Boo’s day that is not overflowing with love.

And, of course, that has everything to do with you.

I wish we could put aside all thoughts of Boobalah’s diagnosis. We know each day is a gift, and we will not take a single hour for granted. Yet as Boo delights in the good days, I know she wants us to do the same.

And isn’t that what it means to be family? We weep and rejoice together — always, together.

I am grateful with all my soul that Boo has you in her life! Every time we kiss her beautiful face or walk her through a sunbeam, you’re here. Thank you, thank you, thank you, dear hearts.

Much love, your guest correspondent,
Angela
