Tabby’s Place SMS Terms & Conditions

  1. Program description: Tabby’s Place does NOT use SMS messaging for marketing or advertising, but only for communications regarding adoption, help or staff communication.
  2. Frequency
    1. If you are subscribed for messaging regarding a cat you have adopted, you can expect to receive messages in 1 week, 3 weeks and 3 months.  You will also receive a message in reply to any request you initiate.
    2. If you are subscribed for messaging during the pre-adoption process, you can expect to receive zero or more messages, depending on our need for information or your questions.
    3. If you are subscribed to message as a result of requesting help, you can expect to receive messages as needed to resolve your issues or when we can no longer provide any help.
  3. Opt-out: Just reply back with CANCEL. After you send the SMS message CANCEL to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.
  4. Help: If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP.
  5. Interruption: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  6. Cost: As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

SMS Privacy Policy

We do not use SMS for any marketing purposes, but for only the following:

  • to communicate with potential adopters to discuss issues prior to adoption
  • to communicate with adopters after the adoptions process is completed regarding concerns and questions of the new owner
  • to communicate with people who contact use looking for resources regarding a cat or cats
  • to communicate with staff regarding urgent matters

We only collect your name and mobile phone address for these purposes.
