Naturally enough, we have a soft spot for tabbies. But even if we didn’t we’d develop one very quickly indeed for Piper. She’s all brown tabby and rather on the large side for a female. She has a slight head tilt, as well, but it doesn’t bother her at all and there’s nothing to do for it. Piper is one of our FIV+ kitties, so she’s automatically classified as a Special Needs cat. We believe she was born some time in 2009.

Ask any of the staff about this young lady, and you’ll immediately get a facial expression that declares how good-natured she is before any words are spoken! She’s exceptionally affectionate with people. When she was in her quarantine period, if you merely looked into her cage and spoke her name, she immediately started "kneading" with her front paws. She’s brand new in her suite (as of 9/15/15), so we’re not sure how she is around other felines just yet.

This little love-bug needs a "forever" home where she’ll be cherished just as she is. While we know she’s not right for every situation, we think it’s just a matter of time before the right person or family walks through our doors. Could that be you?
