Morgan

Morgan is a big boy, with an orange tabby tail, orange on his head and back, and mostly white undersides. He’s quite laid-back and is very much a “gentle giant”. Morgan is friendly with people and enjoys attention; he likes to give head-butts, too. In short, as far as personality goes, it’s hard to beat this cat. Our best guess is that he was born sometime in 2003.

Sometime before he arrived at Tabby’s Place, Morgan threw a blood clot. This is fatal to most felines, but he survived. Unfortunately, Morgan has exceptionally severe heart disease. He is on several medications for this, and he will have to remain on them for the rest of his life. He’ll also need an ultrasound every six-ten months, as well as regular blood work. Obviously, he’s one of our Special Needs crew.

Morgan’s prognosis was initially very poor, but Morgan has defied the odds. His heart disease has continued to progress since he first arrived here, but he reamains stable on his medications. We hope that this continues, and that Morgan will be with us for many years to come.

Morgan will require an adopter as special as he is, and that’s saying a lot! If you have the capability and desire to care for this unique and loving boy (or if you just want to be introduced to a feline with a great personality), please stop in to meet him.
