Luther
Luther is a magnificent, very large, all-black male with rather crumpled ears. He is FIV+ and about ten years of age, according to our best guess. Luther is often very talkative, and he adores people. While he does not like to be touched on his ears, he loves a good “skritch” on the rest of his head or either side of his neck.
We know that Luther was in a foster situation at some point before he came to us. He lived with both dogs and other cats. He got along with the dogs, but he had problems with some of the cats. He is a Type “A” personality and has a commanding presence where other cats are concerned, and certain cats seem to upset him, though he’s OK around others. Because of this, we’re recommending that he go to a home without other felines.
We know that Luther was living outdoors when he was rescued, but as he’s FIV+ he MUST be an indoor-only cat (although an outdoor enclosure would be a possibility). Luther would be ideal for a person or family looking for just one sweet cat to love.
