Lillian

Let me tell you about our Lillian! She’s a wonderful, medium-sized girl, mainly white, with a couple of patches of brown/grey tabby fur and a lovely tabby-striped tail. Lillian is one of the most popular cats at Tabby’s Place, because she’s our most consistent (and persistent) lap cat. “Lil” is seldom too tired to get into a lap, and she’ll usually stay in your lap for as long as you’ll let her.

Lillian is one of our Special Needs crew because she has glaucoma, which is controlled with daily eye drops. The glaucoma may restrict her vision to a degree, but probably not greatly, as she still plays with toys. Lillian has also had her ear flaps removed due to cancer. Squamous cell cancer is not uncommon in mostly white cats, and, once Lillian was diagnosed with that in both ears, her ear flaps were removed to prevent the cancer from metastasizing.
