Dillinger is a handsome brown tabby, of medium-to-large size. He was found living outdoors, but he wasn’t in a good way. One eye was scarred, probably from an old injury (we believe he still has some vision in this eye, the injury isn’t bothering him, and there’s nothing to do for it). He had severe stomatitis (a condition in which his gums are allergic to the plaque on his teeth), so we had to extract his teeth. And he’s FIV+, so he’s one of our Special Needs Crew. We estimate that Dillinger was born sometime in 2004.

Despite his “tough guy” name, Dillinger is a very frightened boy right now. It’s hard to blame him, as we suspect he was living outside for some years and had had little experience with people during that time. He’s not at all aggressive, but, because he’s so scared, we believe he needs a home without small children.

Aside from an adopter with patience, what Dillinger really needs is someone to love him. He’s likely had a rough life so far, and he deserves a break. Landing at Tabby’s Place was a good start, but he needs someone who can devote a lot of time and attention to him. Are you that special person?
