Look at the beautiful colors in Butternut’s coat! She’s a lovely calico of medium size, with lots of orange and black over her back and on her sides. She has a pale orange triangle over her right eye, and the funniest little buff circle just to the left of her nose; her undersides are mostly white.
Butternut was in a private home. She has been very stressed out by coming to Tabby’s Place, and right now she’s rather reserved. But I myself saw a volunteer sit with her for a while, and once Butternut warmed up to the volunteer, she was very purry and affectionate.
Our best guess is that this sweet girl was born around mid-November of 2012. She does not have any medical issues of which are are aware. If you have been looking for some feline companionship, perhaps what you’ve needed all along is simply a Butternut.
