Meet Jimmy, the Orange-Cat Tornado! 🧡

Have you ever wondered what happens when you combine one handsome orange tabby, a bottomless appetite, several feather toys, and approximately zero interest in sitting still? Meet Jimmy.

This young boy is a certified fireball of feline energy. Wand toy? YES. Feather toy? ABSOLUTELY. Something vaguely toy-shaped moving across the room? Jimmy is already halfway there. He plays with the enthusiasm of a cat who has just discovered that gravity is optional and every object in the universe might be hiding a good pounce.

And then there is the food.

When Jimmy hears that meals are being served, he does not dawdle. He does not casually stroll. Jimmy zips directly to the food bowl. His love of eating is impressive, and lickable treats are particularly effective in winning his affection. Frankly, we’re fairly sure he considers them one of life’s major food groups.

Jimmy can be a little shy sometimes, but that’s simply because he’s still getting to know us. Beneath that initial reserve is a playful, curious young cat who’s gradually letting his personality shine. Give him some patience, playtime, and delicious treats, and you’re likely to see more of the wonderful orange-cat chaos we’re getting to know and love.

Jimmy was one of 15 cats rescued from the streets of Lebanon and brought to Tabby’s Place after recovering well from being quite ill. We’re thrilled to see him healthy, energetic, and ready for his next adventure: a forever home.

Jimmy loves other cats, so a feline friend would be a wonderful part of his future. Jimmy is FIV-positive, but that’s far less scary than it sounds. FIV+ cats live long, happy, normal lives and can safely live with non-FIV+ felines.
