One often hears that the book is better than the movie. Such is the case relating to our dear Boq, who more aptly reminds us of the friendly munchkin who invites Dorothy to dinner in L. Frank Baum’s original Oz series than the character of transformations in recent Wicked films.

Boq is a welcoming, friendly cat who seeks an earthly friend and home. Though he can be shy at first, he quickly warms up and thoroughly enjoys affection. He especially loves to be patted if it comes with a treat such as Churu, his favorite! He will lick it right off your finger with gusto.

Like his namesake, he enjoys his meals with company! Boq enjoys other cats’ companionship, and he would be comfortable in a home with other felines with whom to play. That said, Boq is FeLV+, so he would need to be with cats who are also FeLV+. A gentle soul, Boq will surely gain confidence when he has time to bond with a new family for human and animal friends.
