You’ve heard the famous palindrome: “Taco Cat” backwards is “Taco Cat.” Well, this Taco cat seems to know his name backward and forward: if you call out to him, he will likely yowl a response, even if he remains hidden in a burrito of blankets.

If Taco were a taco, he’d be crunchy and possibly filled with chicken and spicy jalapeños. See, at first, Taco can be nervous, and he might even hunker down or give you a little hiss like a sizzling fajita. But if you sit with him and give him time and patience, he will warm up like the finest birria. Then, Taco will accept some pats and scratches, showing his satisfaction by sticking his butt in the air. If he asks you for cheek rubs, you’ll realize: actually, this Taco is soft, and he’s stuffed with all the best fillings and fixings (which may include jalapeños, if that’s your style).

Taco would benefit from a patient adopter and a calm, quiet home. He gets along well with other cats, but because he is FeLV+, Taco would need to live with other FeLV+ cats or be your main entrée as a solo cat.

Taco’s unique blend of spice and sweetness makes him the perfect companion for a lifetime of cozy evenings. If you’re ready for every day to be Taco Tuesday, fill out an adoption questionnaire today!
