Elsbeth is a very sensitive girl that values a calm, quiet space. At first, change for her is very scary, and she has a hard time adjusting. She does initially make it known (be it through grumbles and hisses, or on occasion, swatting) when she is uncomfortable, and would like her space. But with time, as we’ve seen with her in a foster home, she has proven that she loves to greet people at the door, to wind between legs, and thoroughly enjoys chin scratches and to be brushed. She has also proven to be a purr machine, and an avid lover of all things involving brushing, squeeze ups, and crunchy treats. Attempts with laser pointers, jingle bell toys, and other enrichment activities have been made, but her greatest joy is lounging on a comfy chair or cubby, being brushed, and eating her crunchy treats.
Elsbeth can be a bit of a picky eater–she has a major preference for dry food, and really doesn’t enjoy very many pates. She loves broths, and enjoys licking flavored gravies and leaving the chunky bits behind. She really enjoys the friskies party mix treats, and her favorite wet foods/snacks include the fancy feast chicken and vegetables or tuna flavored broths.
