From a litter of kittens named after Snow White’s seven dwarves, Bashful is cute and coy and just a little timid when making your acquaintance. In fact, we think that, underneath his beautiful fur, Bashful just might be blushing!
Shy but friendly, this handsome little tabby is a quiet, kindhearted kitty who rarely seeks the center of attention. Bashful is softly sweet and sentimental — a modest boy who much prefers letting others bask in the limelight. As a kitten, he quietly deferred to his siblings and quite happily waited his turn for affection from his foster family. Grumpy and the others often took center stage while Bashful quietly waited in the wings. And when, at last, Bashful’s turn would come, you could almost imagine him shyly saying, “O-oo-oh, ga-aa-ar-rr-rshhh!” What an endearing quality in a little cat that so much wants to be loved!
Bashful doesn’t mind playing second fiddle, but he is also extremely fond of his sister, Grumpy. They are seldom seen apart and enjoy spending every waking moment together. A bonded pair, they would very much like to find one friend or family to share.
