Blind

While she may not be able to see, our Kahlo is certainly a work of art!

Kahlo was born with an eye deformity that required the removal of both her eyes. Because she is blind, she’s very cautious of the world around her, and rightfully so! Loud noise and commotion can be quite unsettling for someone who can’t see what’s going on, so Kahlo is looking for a calm, quiet home that understands her needs.

While Kahlo can be shy at first, with some reassurance, she can be very sweet. Approach her slowly and gently, and she will gladly enjoy pets and scritches. She may even stretch herself out on your lap! Our little artist has a heart of gold, and simply needs someone willing to take the time to reach it.

Kahlo was raised with two siblings, and takes comfort in the company of other felines. We think she’d do well in a home with other easygoing cats who can help build up her confidence and make her feel more at ease.
