Don’t let his serious face fool you, Paterson is a ball of love!
He may act a bit timid at first, but Paterson warms up quickly. This precious boy is quick to reward his visitors with the sweet sound of his purrs. Perhaps the fastest way to appease Paterson is to scratch all over his head, especially the side of it. He will show his appreciation for your affection, oftentimes by gently headbutting your hand.
Paterson was found in Paterson, New Jersey, which is how he ended up with his name. He came to Tabby’s Place with a few injuries, but has healed well since! During his stay thus far, Paterson hasn’t shown any issues with other cats and would not mind a household with other easygoing cats.
