Meet Derby, a handsome tuxedo cat who, like a jaunty cap, completes the feline outfit of the Tabby’s Place FeLV suite. As the pack’s playful youngster, Derby brings together his fellow felines—sometimes in the wrestling ring, and sometimes as co-conspirators, plotting the best strategies for earning extra treats (which is easy when you’re this cute).
Roll a jingle ball Derby’s way, and he’ll skate circles around you as he bats his tinkling treasure with white-mittened paws. This wide-eyed and long-whiskered lad loves receiving pats just as much as he loves happily perching in one of his solarium’s cubby holes. One minute, his eyes are closed as he contemplates the breeze dancing across his fur, and the next, he’s off!—there’s a toy mouse on the floor, begging to be pounced upon.
From the tip of his tail to his black-spotted nose, Derby is sweet and affectionate, and he can’t wait to bring joy to a family of his own. Other than being FeLV positive, Derby is young and healthy, and with the right care, he and his fellow Felvies can continue to live happy, healthy lives.
