Sporting a marvelously golden coat speckled with patches of white, our Rusty certainly resembles his name!
Rusty came to us from an outdoor colony and was understandably scared when he first arrived. However, it took only a couple days for him to begin enjoying the benefits of indoor life! He quickly learned that humans are providers of many wonderful things, including love, toys, pets, and of course, food. Rusty has quickly shown us that he’s ready for the indoor life in a forever home of his own.
While Rusty may still appear shy at first, don’t let his hard exterior fool you! It can take him a little bit to get comfortable, but once you gain his trust, this sweet gentleman wants nothing more than to rub up against your legs and enjoy some well-deserved pets. He’s definitely become a favorite of both the staff and volunteers simply because of his heart of gold.
Rusty is a chill guy who gets along fine with his feline roommates and would do well with other laid-back cats or as a solo cat. While he’s a tad bit on the older side, Rusty wants you to know that he still has a lot of life left in him and a lot of love to give!
