Alora came to us after her owner unexpectedly passed away. After being alone in a house for an unknown amount of time, the transition to a shelter was a bit scary for this dear girl. Alora would comfort herself by burrowing deep under her blankets, the only sign of her presence a large lump under her bedding. With time and lots of love, however, Alora has become far more comfortable in her new surroundings. These days, she’ll often come up to you if you enter her suite, meowing loudly to catch your attention. While she still enjoys taking a good nap while nestled under some cozy blankies, she also loves to beg for attention and get plenty of pets.
In terms of other cats, Alora can be a bit nervous about new introductions. After spending her early years as a beloved single cat, having to share her space is still a bit new. Alora would do well as a single cat or in a home with other laidback cats after a slow introduction.
