Chicken Salad’s recent history is enough to give some a bellyache, but this sweet girl is looking for a second chance at a Forever Home. This lovely lady’s person unfortunately passed away and she was surrendered to a local animal shelter. Scared and confused, Chicken was very stressed in the shelter environment and unfortunately soon found herself slated for euthanasia due to overcrowding. Luckily, Tabby’s Place was able to open our doors to this girl and work with her to help her come out of her shell.
Although Chicken Salad is still a bit nervous, she is clearly a sweet girl under that lemon and pepper exterior! Chicken loves to have a good potluck with some tasty treats and will come to you if she thinks you’ve brought some snacks. She can be a bit nervous about first being approached, but she is very appreciative of getting some good scritches. In the right home, we are sure that her true personality will blossom with a little bit of love and patience!
In her suite, Chicken Salad seems to get along fine with other cats. She would do well in a home with other laidback cats or as a solo cat.
