Houston, we have a problem! … You’re just too cute!

Meet Houston, part fuzzy teddy bear, part ancient soothsayer, all cute and cuddly! Houston currently resides in our Community Room, where the Big Man has a padded bachelor pad where he be comfy. Come in for a scheduled tour and he’d love to make your acquaintance for a moment!

Houston has a condition called hydrocephalus, or water on the brain. Due to the excess buildup of fluid on the brain, Houston has limited vision and is mobility impaired in that he often spins and can have difficulties navigating tight spaces. Thanks to lots of love and medication, Houston’s condition is improving, but he will need lifelong care. Houston needs a family that is home often to give him plenty of attention and a padded space to protect his head from further injury.

This sweet boy, however, has no idea that he is any different from other cats! If Houston hears or senses you near, he’ll let out a curious mew to call you over. All Houston wants to do is be your friend! Pick up this handsome boy and he will stretch himself out into your arms and begin making muffins! Houston is an incredibly affectionate and snuggly cat who loves all people.

When it comes to other cats, Houston seems to be mostly indifferent. He’s much more interested in making human friends and seeking out cuddle time than hanging with his fellow felines. Houston would be a great solo cat or an addition to a multi-cat household.

Houston is looking for a loving home that is equipped to handle his daily needs. Could that be with you? Learn more about Houston by filling out an online adoption application today!
